While your house may not be big enough for your family and a growing population of resident mice, the world certainly is big enough for us all. Why not catch mice the humane way with our Humane Live "No Kill" Mouse Trap? Catch mice and then let them go, without snapping their backs or tortuously poisoning them. Snap traps and glue pads often leave mice in agonizing pain. Likewise, poisons have similar horrifying effects and will continue poisoning all animals, such as cats and birds, that catch and consume poisoned mice. Choose the humane way of dealing with mice. Choose the Humane Live "No Kill" Mouse Trap.freedmouse.jpg
To use our unique "no kill" trap simply place a "saltine" cracker in the bait holder, set the trap, and check frequently (make sure you check daily or you may starve a trapped mouse). Once you catch a little squeeker, take your trap (with mouse inside) to a field or forest approximately five miles from your home, and then open the bait door (Door A). The mouse will then chew through the saltine cracker in order to escape. It's fun to watch and much more compassionate than traditional death traps. We recommend that you wash out the trap before using it again, as mice have an excellent sense of smell. A small amount of cooking oil will keep the door hinges from rusting.
Please note, these traps work best with a cracker. Do NOT place food inside the trap in any place other than the cracker slot (Door A) provided, as some of your little house guests are so small and quick, they will dash in and out before being caught. If you want to offer them something more exciting than a cracker, we suggest putting something on the cracker (like peanut butter) before inserting it into the trap. You will find that the trap is extremely successful if used in this manner. Also, although very unusual, mice can chew and destroy traps if left in the trap for any length of time. Please note that Abundant Earth does not warranty against chewing.
